Commercial Mushroom Production Case Study: A Smart Farm Specializing in Sparassis crispa Mushroom Cultivation

Project Introduction:

Located in the picturesque Qiandao Lake region of Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, our edible mushroom farmer’s professional cooperative is a seasoned producer with years of specialized experience in Sparassis crispa. We offer end-to-end production capabilities, from spawn generation to mushroom fruiting.

Our state-of-the-art facility spans 42 mu (approximately 28,000 square meters) and achieves a daily output of 1.2 tons of Sparassis crispa. The site is comprehensively equipped, featuring dedicated spaces for raw material storage, mixing, packaging, spawn and deep processing laboratories, cultivation, fruiting, and fresh mushroom packaging.

We utilize advanced, custom-designed equipment, including specialized refrigeration units, atomizers, and variable-spectrum LED lighting. This integrates into a fully automated control system that meticulously regulates temperature, light, water, and air within our cultivation rooms. By precisely simulating the natural growth environment through intelligent controls, we achieve efficient, industrial-scale production.

Our advanced environmental management system ensures precise control over all growth parameters within production areas. Each room is fitted with intelligent digital displays for real-time monitoring of:

  • Temperature and Humidity

  • Lighting (including variable spectrum LEDs to mimic natural light conditions)

  • Water and Airflow

This automated, data-driven approach guarantees our mushrooms thrive under optimal conditions, leading to enhanced efficiency, superior quality, and consistent product characteristics.
